Alex Pearlman – Most Spirited
For those who know Alex Pearlman, it comes as no surprise that she has been named the most spirited girl of her class. Pearlman has gone through life with enthusiasm and positivity, and for the past four years at BHS she has done just that. Whether it is dressing up at games, cheering players on, or just having a constant positive, encouraging energy at school every day, spirit just comes naturally to Pearlman.
“I truly love Berkley. I love the people, and I love the environment, so I think it just shows. If I really love something, I show it – you’ll be able to tell.” In addition to her passion about school, Pearlman’s mindset and the way she approaches experiences also help her keep in good spirits. She states, “I always try to make every experience that I have fun for myself, for my friends, and for everyone I love. I think spirit is all about the energy you bring to a place.”
Having the right mindset about everyday things makes life a lot more exciting, and allows people to appreciate the little things. Pearlman can attest to this, as she has mastered this very special skill. Though she has had an amazing highschool experience, Pearlman is excited to start the next chapter in her life at the University of Wisconsin this upcoming fall. “It’s definitely bittersweet,” Pearlman says. “I’m going to miss everyone at Berkley and my family so much, but I’m excited to see what this new step in life brings, and I think I’m going to grow a lot.” There is no doubt that Pearlman will excel at whatever she does in life, and you can rest assured that she will do so with her same contagious energy she radiated through Berkley’s halls.
