Student Interviewed: Sammi Withrow

What is your favorite school club, activity, or elective?

Basketball. After four years on varsity, I am a captain this year and am excited to get to work.

What career path are you interested in pursuing in the future?

Marketing or business since I am currently in marketing and could see myself applying those skills into the business world, but we’ll see.

If you could go back and reassure the freshman you about something, what would it be?

High school is shorter than it seems, it goes by fast. It took me a while to enjoy the school spirit aspect of high school, but I would definitely encourage underclassmen to do so.

Which three adjectives best sum up who you are?

Spunky, cutesy, and fiesty.

What are you passionate about?

Sleep, I can sleep whenever. I love my bed.

What is your favorite comfort food and why?

Fries or toast because they’re just yummy, easy, and always there.

If you could add a class to the Berkley High School, what would it be?

Business class. It could teach students about real life things like how to manage future finances, and careers. They could definitely do a better job of preparing us for the real world!
