Q: What is one thing that caught you by surprise when you got to high school?
A: “I was surprised by the hallways which aren’t as bad as I thought they’d be, and so far I haven’t had too much homework which is also surprising.”
Q: What is one goal you hope to achieve by the time you graduate?
A: “I’ve always wanted to make varsity in basketball and soccer, I think it would be such fun experiences.”
Q: What is one word you would use to describe your first semester of high school?
A: “Challenging. I chose this word because it was pretty hard to adjust, there’s a lot more people than middle school and sometimes it gets overwhelming. But after a while I got used to it.”
Q: Thinking about the rest of your high school career, what do you get most excited about?
A: “I’m definitely most excited for the sports, but also bonding with new teammates and classmates.”
Q: Do you have an idea of what classes you want to take next year?
A: “I want to take an honors class, but I don’t know which one yet.”
Q: What is your favorite school club, activity, or elective?
A: “I like doing algebra, I think it’s fun doing math when I understand it.”
Q: Who is your favorite teacher this year?
A: “Definitely Ms. Nixon, she’s always really nice.”
