Q: What is one goal you hope to achieve by the time you graduate?
A: To be in the National Honor Society here at Berkley. Being in NHS is important to me because it is truly an honor to be included in it, and you’re able to take a lot of pride from that. It also helps a lot on college admissions and gives more reasons for the colleges I apply for to accept me.
Q: Do you participate in any extracurricular activities outside of school?
A: Yes, I do three sports: football, baseball, and wrestling. From these three sports, I learn about life lessons; they all truly test your mental toughness and emotional strength. Being able to do difficult things in sports right now lets me know that I will be able to conquer the hardships and troubles of life in the future.
Q: What is the biggest change you noticed from middle school to high school?
A: The workload has been a lot different. In middle school, you didn’t really get as much, and in high school, you get a lot more.
Q: What is one word you would use to describe your first semester of high school?
A: Long, the days feel long.
Q: What is your favorite school subject to learn about?
A: My favorite, currently, would probably be biology.
Q: When you think about the rest of your high school career, what do you get most excited about?
A: All the different classes I could take in the future and all the opportunities I have here. There’s no class in particular currently, but I have heard about a lot of different classes and electives here.
