Bears of Berkley: Sophomore (Case Bishop)

Q: Who is your favorite teacher?

Mrs. Matthews is my favorite teacher because she really cares about her students and is able to teach whatever subject we are learning in a simple and easy to understand way.

Q: What is one goal you hope to achieve by the time you graduate?

One goal is to do well enough in school to go to whatever college I want.

Q: What is your favorite school subject to learn about?

Math is my favorite subject because I’ve always been good at it. I’ve always been able to pick up new things quickly, so I find the class really easy, and that makes it my favorite.

Q: Right now, are there any colleges you are interested in attending?

I’ve always been a State fan, so going to State would be cool, but I don’t have my heart set on it.

Q: What career path are you interested in pursuing in the future?

The career path I’m most interested in is engineering. I don’t know what field exactly, but some sort of engineering.

Q: If you could ask a senior one question, what would you ask?

What are the best classes to take? What teachers do I want for an easier class?

Q: Do you participate in any extracurricular activities outside of school? If so, what are they?

I play soccer and basketball outside of school.

Q: What is one thing that makes you proud to be a Berkley Bear?

One thing I’m most proud of is our soccer program. Year after year we’re a good team and make it far into the playoffs.

Q: What is one study technique that has helped you so far in high school?

The best studying I’ve done has been with Quizlet. It has everything you need: flashcards, study games, study guides…it’s super helpful.

Q: Do you have any embarrassing or funny freshman year stories?

For the first three weeks of school last year, I walked into the wrong second hour every single day.
