Hi! My name is Maddie Collins, and this is my second year on staff. I am the sports editor for The Spectator. I started writing for publication because I find a career in journalism very interesting. The idea of writing something you are excited about and then having others read it is a very good opportunity! I am interested in writing about current events, sports, and student life. In my free time, I play soccer, I am on the swim team, and I love traveling. I am very excited about this year because we now have an Instagram account (@berkley.spectator), which gives us the ability to show Berkley what really goes into writing The Spectator! Lastly, my favorite donut from Donut Cutter is just plain glazed!
